My name is David Duong, and my passion is to make ideas palpable; ideas which can provide utility for others.

I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada where I am a development team lead at Strata Health Solutions, a company which specializes in leveraging web technologies to improve patient flow for the patients, their families and their caregivers.

The programmer, like the poet, works only slightly removed from pure thought-stuff. He builds his castles in the air, from air, creating by exertion of the imagination. Few media of creation are so flexible, so easy to polish and rework, so readily capable of realizing grand conceptual structures.

Software influences much of our modern world, despite being little more than "thought-stuff". With each new concept, methodology or tool; a designer gains new instruments which can be used to draw even grander designs from "thought-stuff".
